Store Policies

Payments - You may pay for your purchase by credit card, PayPal, personal check or money order. If you are a registered customer, the system will default to the method of payment that you used on your last purchase (as shown under Account History.) If you wish to change the manner of payment (or don't remember) select the box next to "Change Billing Information."

For PayPal or credit card, when you checkout, another browser window will open from the secure PayPal website. In this window, you may provide the necessary information to use one of the accepted (VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover) credit cards or log into your PayPal account. Within your PayPal account, you may use all normal payment methods available to you.

For maximum security, orders using credit cards for payment must include the credit card number, expiration date, authorization code (on the card reverse) and the same billing address where you receive your statement.  Purchases on your credit card will be listed as PayPal *GREESONMA on your statement.

After completion of the payment process, you will be returned to my web store. You will receive an e-mail message confirming your order.

Please note that PayPal eChecks will require 4-5 days to clear your bank and this will delay shipping your order until receipt of funds has been confirmed.

If you have chosen to pay by check or money order, please make the check payable to "Maureen Greeson" and mail it to Maureen Greeson, 1102 Dzen Way, South Windsor, CT 06074. I will hold your order for up to 10 days pending receipt of your payment. Your payment must clear my bank before the order is shipped.

Please note that international orders must be paid for via a PayPal account, i.e., credit cards, personal checks and money orders are not accepted. This is to facilitate billing you, as required, for international shipping charges.

Registration - As a convenience to you I provide the option to register and create a unique password. This provides you the ability to enjoy a faster checkout without reentering personal information for future orders. For customers that do create an account I may send out periodic emails that inform you of new products. You can opt out of these messages at any time. On rare occasions it may be necessary to send out a strictly service related announcement. For instance, if my store is temporarily suspended for maintenance (or a vacation!) I might send you an email.

Sales Tax & Pricing - Orders placed from a Connecticut address will have 6% CT sales tax added. Tax is based on the total purchase price of the order. All prices are in US dollars.

Shipping – For addresses in the United States, I ship only by USPS Mail. Your postage is based on the table below:

Orders totaling $75 or more are always shipped Priority Mail. The applicable shipping cost will be included on your invoice prior to beginning the payment process. There is never a handling charge.

I do ship international orders. As noted under Payments, such orders must be paid for via a PayPal account, i.e., credit cards are not accepted. After receipt of your order, I will prepare the package and invoice you via PayPal for the added shipping cost. Upon receipt of the payment for shipping, your package will be mailed. All international packages are shipped via USPS Priority Mail International. Packages will be insured (if available to your country) and will include all customs documentation. You are responsible for all customs, duties, and taxes.

You will receive an e-mail message notifying you that I have shipped your package.


Backorders - I generally do not backorder. However, once in a while something may be out of stock. Most customers would like to receive the ordered item, even with a little wait. So, if you have placed an order for merchandise that is not on hand, I will attempt to fill that portion of the order as quickly as possible. I will notify you via email and provide details on the anticipated delivery time. If I cannot ship the ordered item within a reasonable time, I will credit your credit card or PayPal account for those items.

Returns & Credits - If you are not happy with your purchase, please contact me immediately by e-mail. I will work with you to make things right. You must ask for my authorization before returning an item. Products returned must be in the as-delivered, sellable condition. Include a copy of the order, with the items being returned circled. Cost of return shipping and insurance is your responsibility. I cannot accept returns on unused portions of trims or ribbons. Cut goods are not returnable. Upon receipt of the items, I will issue a credit for the purchase price. Please note I refund only to the credit card or PayPal account used to make your purchase. The initial shipping costs cannot be refunded unless the return is for an error that I made.

Insurance Claims – Your order has been carefully packaged and shipped insured. In the case of damaged or lost merchandise, you must notify me immediately via email. Please note I am unable to honor any damage claim if notification is not received by me within 3 days of delivery. Items lost in transit must be reported to me within 14 days of shipment. However, I am not responsible for the actions of the USPS. As the intended recipient of the package, you must notify the USPS of the nature of your loss. Upon your notification to me, I will forward a copy of the insurance receipt for your use during the claims process.

Product Colors - The color descriptions of ribbons, trims and lace are difficult. I try to use the names offered by the supplier. Dye lots do change from time to time and sometimes vary quite a bit. Unfortunately I have no control over this. While I work very hard to ensure I provide you with the highest quality images and color accuracy, I can not guarantee how images will appear on your computer.  Variations in monitors and systems may impact color accuracy.
