Silk Ribbon - Great Value! for Crazy Quilting
This is a great quality colorfast silk ribbon at a value price. Available in three sizes, you will need to press it before using. Steam it trying a silk setting first (I usually use the cotton setting) on your iron and spray a little where needed. Pull it through with the plate of the iron down while holding the ribbon on each side to do it quicker. At this price, you'll not mind the little time it takes to press!! Use 12" to 15" cuts for ribbon embroidery to keep from pulling the ribbon through your fabric too often. Available in four width & length combination's: 2mm - 8 yards each of 7 colors, 4mm - 6 yards each of 7 colors, 7mm - 5 yards each of 7 colors, 13mm - 3 yards each of 7 colors. Note that the subtle shadings of different colors are difficult to reproduce on scans of the ribbons. Each collection consists of different colors.
