Asian Beauties: These lovely hand paintings on silk are ~10"x14". They are suitable for framing and I believe this is the intended use. Because I love to use unusual embellishments, I think they are better used as a centerpiece to build a crazy quilt. They are on a very thin silk so need to be handled carefully during the stitching process. I would recommend that they go on your project after you have finished all or most of the embellishment you are going to use. It will need a background fabric as the silk used for these paintings is sheer.

Dimensional Asian Ladies: Perfect for crazy quilt projects, etc., these lovely Asian ladies are hand painted silk. They were originally sold as Chinese ornaments and I've been told that this technique is no longer being done and that these are from the 1950's. Check on my blog for suggestions on how to apply these to your fabric art. About 6 inches tall.
